Muscle Car vs. Tuner Car?
Muscle car verses the Tuner car, this seems to be the question now. I don't know how it happened, the muscle car was it. There was no Tuner car. I guess the way the car market has gone, the 4 and 6 bangers have gotten more sporty. Then drifting came on to the scene. What the hell is Drifting anyway?
Well, there are some cool Tuner cars, but the Muscle Car will always be King!
Now, we need to here from you, what do you think?

C10 retrieval a success!
We got the 1965 C10 pickup today! Went down to Lancaster,SC to get the truck. The truck needs a coil to run, so we had to manual put it on the trailer. A electric wench made things much easier, and we delivered it to Robb house. We can't wait to get it running and drive it. This truck is Oldsmobile powered. And it turns out that it has a 1970 442 455cu engine, very excited about that! Also, some fresh tires would make the transition back to the road better.

Retrieving V1 Customs next project!
Tomorrow looks the day we might retrieve the 1965 C-10 pickup. Due to one thing or another, we have been unable to get the truck home. This truck has a special story. First, its carolina blue, second, it's oldsmobile powered. And finally, the man we bought it from has cancer. We hope to restore it just like he wanted!
We should have pictures of our retrieval with the truck and Bobby the seller.

Progress on the Rocket Car
Finally got the broken bearing out of the axle tube, took forever, it was very stubborn! Should be able to put it together tomorrow and drive it. Can't wait.
F-85 Rocket Car
I was remembering today how this whole started. I had bought a bunch of parts along with a car from a buddy of mine. He lived in Columbus Oh, he called one day and said I am getting out of Oldsmobiles and into Jeeps, do you want to buy all my stuff? Well, I thought about it for about 2 secs, sure I said I will be out as soon as I can. I hooked up my trailer and my son and I were off. We ended up with 1 1970 442, 3 engines, 2 transmissions, a ramair hood and enough spare parts that we almost didn't have room to fit everything. My truck was so overloaded that by the time we got back to Virginia my brakes were metal on metal. ( A little costly ) The trunk was full of stuff. We started to unload everything to see really what we got. I realized the body, even though it was a real 442, was totally gone. I stripped everything out of the 442 and began my search for a rust free body. I found a 1970 F-85 in Hickory, NC owned by a little old lady. Lol, true, no kidding. My friend had bought it from the family, but it was truely rust free. It had a 6 cylinder eng, good for a boat ancher. And that is how we ended up with a F-85 Rocket Car! Stay tuned, and we explain how we have gotten to this point.
F-85
Got the parts for the rocketcar, need some heat to get the race out of the axle tube though.
Here we go!
